Inspired soap is a small botique business run by me, Nicole. I am a mum to 3 talented and very active girls and a range of furry and feathered friends.

l started out making my own products because  I wanted to know what was in the products I used, and that what I was using was good for my skin.

I make my soaps using the traditional cold process method of combining an alkali substance (sodium hydroxide) with oils and butters resulting in the process of saponification which changes the composition of the oils and butters. This results in a bar of soap. The sodium hydroxide is used up in the reaction and is not present in the finished product.

My recipe is very high in Shea butter and cocoa butter with a superfat of 7%,  this mean that 7% of the oils and butters were not used up in the reaction and are still present to provide a highly moisturizing soap.

I use both fragrance oils and precious essential oils to fragrance my products and micas, oxides and natural plant botanical for color.
